About

Paul was inspired to make jewellery whilst travelling in Asia & has been working as a self taught designer jeweller for nearly 25 years. He lived in North Cornwall for several years, before relocating to Southern France with his family in 2009.  Working alone in the solitude of his rural workshop Paul draws on his technical abilities to undertake all aspects involved in the design and fabrication of his work (apart from casting).  He creates indulgent & interesting pieces, incorporates imaginative & bold settings with no constraints on design.

Paul uses a variety of innovative techniques. He produces distinctive ranges of jewellery demonstrating a love of strong form with few embellishments. He contrasts colour and texture with organic flowing forms in silver and gold, and often combines this with diamonds or gemstones in unusual settings.

Paul also produces some items in 18ct gold including commissioned items such as wedding and engagement rings. His handmade contemporary collections feature  rings, bangles, pendants and earrings.
